According to preliminary findings, the 37-year-old resident of the podia, driving a car Audi, hit a pedestrian who crossed the road in a place not intended for that purpose. Unfortunately, because of the injured man, he died on the spot. Police officers determine the exact circumstances of this accident - inform Adyta, press officer of KPP Kato.
The police are calling for prudence and common sense. Every pedestrian and cyclist should remember about his safety and take care to be visible and move outside the area built-up with the left side of the road. A reflective vest, key chain, headband, or even a flashlight will make it easier to see the oncoming driver when moving on a poorly lit road. Furthermore, remember that not adjusting the speed to the conditions on the road can also be the cause of the tragedy.
