The National Road Safety Agency, together with the Government of the Province of La Rioja, relaunched the "Federal Program for the Delivery of Helmets and Reflective Equipment".
This program was first relaunched in the NOA region and the first destination is the province of La Rioja, where helmets and vests will be delivered so that motorcyclists can travel safely.
In the Chilecito department, 400 helmets were delivered, within the framework of an important day that also included training and a strong message of awareness from the authorities related to the care of life.
In the presentation of the program, 20 moto delivery workers participated in the training and subsequent delivery of helmets and high visibility vests. All of them completed the respective documentation as drivers and the vehicle.
On this occasion, the mayor Rodrigo Brizuela y Doria, along with all the members of the Municipal Cabinet, the vice mayor Sebastián Gutiérrez, councilors and the provincial deputies Lázaro Fonzalida and Claudio Ruiz received the highest authorities of the Police and the Ministry and the Secretariat of Security of the Province and representatives of the National Road Safety Agency, whose president connected via zoom.
The authorities highlighted the importance of this program at the national level and the positive impact of raising awareness for all moto delivery drivers.
An important piece of information provided on the occasion should be noted: the helmet delivery operation will also reach the department's districts after organizing training talks and other requirements to be met to work calmly and responsibly.
"Thanks to the Government of the Province, in the person of Governor Ricardo Quintela, for his federal outlook towards the interior of the province, so that all Riojans can access programs that aim to strengthen policies of great social impact," were the words used by departmental officials to show their approval for the fulfillment of this delivery.
