First-year students will soon be back in the dark in the autumn and will often master their own path for the first time. In order to prevent road hazards, the ADAC Foundation "Geber Engel" will be distributing 750,000 safety vests to first-graders again this year - also at primary schools in the Ampersand.
The 17 students of the first class of the primary school Loy now also shine very brightly. Heidi Nowak, media and sponsor of the Retender, gave the children on Thursday in the name of the ADAC the safety reflective vest. The campaign is also supported by Deutsche Post. The school had applied for the project. In the classroom the children were able to lay their west for the first time. What they do, Heidi Nowak introduced with a lamp. "I like the vest because it is so bright," said Lima-Sophia.
Heidi Nowak had also brought a great plan to the class of teacher Corinne Fiedler. Each child is entered by name. For every day, on the way to school - by bus, bike or on foot - the neon yellow safety vest is wearing a cross. The plan covers four weeks.
When fully filled, the pupils receive a "traffic detection card", which can be given the name and a small picture. With the completed plan and a photo the class can also participate in a raffle of the ADAC. The first prize is to win € 500 for gaming machines; the second-placed class receives € 200 for the school library, and € 100 for the library. Squares four to 200 are gathering documents, such as books and CDs, for the "Felix and Frieda - traffic detectives on the road with wear high visibility vest", which can be used to study the classes.
