Two men in reflective vests forced money from drivers at the entrance to the estate. One stopped the car with a hairdryer in his hand, pretending to be a cop. The second slammed the windbreaker behind the window, demanding money. They heard charges of robbery, they were arrested.
Two 24-year-olds on Tuesday evening tried to "earn" quickly and easily on the drivers. They were wearing high visibility vests. One was holding a hairdryer in his outstretched hand, so he could in the dark resemble a policeman. The cars stopped when he waved. As the driver left the window, a colleague of the "policeman" slammed the pneumatic rifle into the car. They demanded 2.50 zł for entering the street.
The Subaru driver did not pay; he just started screaming and called the police. Uniforms were given another identical application - from a woman driving a suit. They stopped the 24-year-olds in the act.
They had 2 to 3 promotes alcohol in the body. Before they were questioned, they had to sober up in police custody.
"We applied for temporary detention for fear of fugitive and escaping and for high males," says Elmira Jurist, a police spokeswoman. "They say they were so drunk they did not remember much, but they admitted to guilt," he adds.
The police dressed in safety vest are asking to contact drivers who have been terrorized by the arrested men. They were at the entrance, in the most prestigious residential district of Bilks.
