Maude offers the "Moab Pro" backpack in three different versions. There are two versions for men with 22 liters volume; the models differ in the back length. The ergonomically shaped body contact back system is equipped with a light, multi-functional Central Back protector from the southern manufacturer Ortega. Ortega is a specialist in orthopedic technology, medical fitness and sports protection and has many years of experience with top athletes from all disciplines. The TÜV / GS seal for a tested quality of the protector is compulsory.
In collaboration with Maude, Ortega has developed a protector that has been integrated into the backpack. For the protection of the spine it lies close to the back and can be optimally adapted to the body size via a height-adjustable waist belt. The protector consists of several layers of breathable, foam for maximum protection in an impact. It is more imputable, which means that, after an impact and resulting deformations of the foam, it returns to its starting position and does not have to be replaced.
The shoulder straps and the wide hip belt of the very light backpack are made of an air-permeable, flexible material. Like a staple, the backpack can be worn tightly against the body and is also solid and stable in rough terrain.
Organizer pockets in the main compartment and front compartment, as well as side mesh pockets, should ensure order and overview during the tour. At the bottom of the backpack is the tool compartment with dividers for Manitou, repair kit and spare parts. If necessary, the tool compartment can be removed completely. Other extras include the helmet holder for different helmet sizes, reflective elements and the outlet for a drinking system.
Environmental protection in luggage
Maude as a pioneer in sustainability has set itself the goal of producing more and more products according to the strict specifications of the in-house Green Shape label. The new protector backpacks also provide the in-house guarantee for environmentally friendly products. The main material is system-certified. This system is intended to regulate and control the environmentally friendly and resource-friendly production of textiles. The manufacturer of the Bodensee with Eco Finish uses PFC-free equipment, which does not require any harmful fluorocarbons, for an environmentally-friendly effect on the surface of the backpack. If continuous rain is present, the supplied rain cover can be covered. Maude has also been able to switch to PFC-free alternatives in the equipment of waterproof reflective materials through intensive research and development work with the supplier industry.
