Authorities deliver reflective vests to drivers to promote their use

If this implement is not available, motorists will be exposing to a minor fault, whose fine ranges from 0.2 to 0.5 UTM (from about 10 thousand to about 22,500 pesos).

The vest, which must contain fluorescent and retro-reflective material, has to go in a place that is accessible from inside the vehicle, such as the glove box.
