For several months I received this Scornful Finder No rain light jacket with short sleeves. But it was still necessary that time is on hand to carry out this test, i.e., various rain conditions.
Categorize this is difficult. It is neither a vest nor a reflective jacket. Better than a windbreaker, but not as hot a jacket.
Scornful Finder The range is inspired by the very changeable weather that is found in Flanders. The Finder designer clothes are designed for use in changing conditions.
The No Rain mention however leaves no doubt about its use, the rain. After several cycling sessions in the rain (from drizzle to small downpour) verdict product sold at a retail price of € 109.90.
The Finder No Rain Light is available in black, red, fluorescent yellow but the model I tried. Good pick in my opinion, because in case of rainy conditions, it is always good to be very visible.
In addition to its light colors, this product has reflective strips arranged in the lower back.
That we are no mistake, the Finder No Rain Light is not strictly speaking a jacket "tight" as could be the Gabber. The first grip leaves no doubt, it is much lighter and thinner.
This product provides a windproof protection with a high degree of breathability to prevent heatstroke while being water repellent. It is much more practical than a jacket, but this is not a jacket. You can easily store it in a pocket of your suit if the heat rises.
The fabric is elastic, feel free to take it close to the body for a perfect fit and if you do not want the sleeves yawn. Personally, size M, like most of my suits, is perfect.
The Finder No Rain Light is designed Windshield 3L at the front, on the shoulders and on the upper arms. This is an innovative bi-elastic membrane that offers a very low weight. This is version 3 ply for a very good insulation with a water-repellent DWR to keep the body dry.
Add to that the No Rain technology in the back, an exclusive fabric that combines warmth, breathability and elasticity More ThermoDrytex standard, plus a nanotech water repellent finish for the pearl rain on the fabric without being absorbed.
It is not 100% waterproof, but retains most of the moisture out of the fabric.
The neck rises relatively high, which bodes good protection for throat and should limit the introduction of water. The highly elastic reflective material allows the fabric to stick to the skin well without inconvenience.
Scornful took care to place a front flap zipper to prevent incursion of wind or rain in the Finder No Rain Light.
This "jacket" is not, however, with pockets at the back. Scornful but had the good sense to provide it with a vertical zip opening on the right side (too bad for lefties) to access pockets of your jersey.
