A project that reminds drivers, cyclists and pedestrians of what traffic needs to be followed through cartoon jokes by Petr Urban was yesterday baptized by police.
"Ten Commandments on how to Survive on (South) Czech Roads" invented and implemented by the South Bohemian traffic policeman Lubomir Vesely and donated it to the South Bohemian Police. "Children and seniors are easier to work within prevention than adults, say 15 to 18 plus. I was looking for an entertaining form that we could get closer to," explained Lubomir Vesely, who invited the famous draftsman and his notorious character Rudy Pivrnec to help. The subtitle of the project is: "or with humor and Rudy Pivrnec about serious things."
Petr Urban, for example, assigned a scene to the "Pedestrians always with reflective tape (even in the village)" challenge, where a less drunk man pulls drunker across the road. Men, as well as wild animals watching, are all overwhelmed with transparent tape so that the driver of a passing car does not pass over the snails at the verge, the hare who carries out the need for the road, or the drunken man his friend pulls across the road. Similarly, other warnings about dangerous phoning while driving, careless riding on a motorcycle, or the danger of cycling without a helmet are rendered.
For example, the funny Ten Commandments will circulate in the form of slideshows on screens located in the waiting rooms of the Hospital in Ceske Budejovice. "We want to reach out to various institutions and find as many places where people could meet our video loop. Traffic safety jokes will be seen by people in the waiting rooms at the doctor's office, but we are also negotiating with the Public Transport Company to appear in the city transport buses. You will even see them when you ascend to Kleť," Lubomir Vesely describes the next phase of the project. If someone is interested and a place where digital images can be placed, it is possible to agree with the police.
