Transit of the Municipality of Maldonado, with the support of the Maldonado Police and the National Traffic Police, continues to develop control operations in different roads of the departmental capital, Pinta Del Est and the surroundings of both cities.
In the case of motorcyclists, the emphasis is placed on the importance of driving with a protective helmet (approved) and reflective vest with reflective tapes, as well as avoiding noise pollution by trimming the exhaust pipes or installing improper leaks.
Between the 25th and the 31st of January, new control operations were carried out at Stop 23 of the Lamb Claudio Williamson (Maldonado); Capricious Moravia Avenue and Leonardo DA Vince Street (Ricin Del India, Pinta Del Est); stops 1 and 3 of the ravine Lorenzo Ballet Pacheco (Pinta Del Est) and other areas.
During the different controls, 32 contraventions were applied; another 8 contraventions with vehicle retention; 1 with document retention; 24 contraventions by positive astrometry; and 2 that were with vehicle retention.
In addition, 17 notifications were made for infractions to the National Road Traffic Regulation (RNCV); and another 38 notifications to drivers of motorcycles to circulate without the reflective vest and also due to noise pollution controls.

Between January 18 and 24, there were operations at stops 1, 2, 16 and 23 of the Claudio Williamson ravine (Pinta Del Est and Maldonado); surroundings of the Watcher's Tower; Luscious Avenue and Javelin Street; Route 39 at the height of the Hippodrome neighborhood; and at stops 1 and 3 of Lamb Lorenzo Ballet Pacheco (Pinta Del Est).
In total, 33 contraventions were applied; 21 contraventions with vehicle retention and 11 more violations with retention of documents; also 25 contraventions by positive astrometry. In addition, 2 were with document retention and another 4 with vehicle retention.
On the other hand, 69 notifications were made for infractions to the National Road Traffic Regulation (RNCV), and another 72 notifications for driving on a motorcycle without a reflective vest and with vehicles that were causing noise pollution.
