The Department of Youth and celebrations reports that 63 applications have been submitted so that children can ride on the floats. In the raffle, the letter 'Z' came out and, from it, the 45 lucky young people were appointed to be part of the parade.
Mario Lopez, mayor of celebrations, requests that "the parents of the children who participate in the ride collaborate in the safety of it, for which it will be necessary to put on a reflective vest that we carry in our private cars."
The parents with the children dressed must be at 5:00 p.m. on January 5 in the departure area of all the floats, between the Consistorial Avenue and the Plaza de la Brian, to collect the accreditations of the minors.
The route of Coalgate de Reyes 2019 continued last year for security reasons. It will depart on January 5, at 6:00 p.m., to follow the avenue of Juan Pablo II, Caspian Sea, Sports Avenue, Paz Street, Radar walk, Ronda de la Fuentes, Antonia Harran, and Chorrillos Alta, to finish in front of the City Hall. The floats will be accompanied by a ton of sweets will be distributed. Finally, distribution of the roscoe de Reyes y chocolate, for children and adults, will take place in the Plaza de la Constitution.
