The law does not only mean motorists who have to be changed to winter tires since 1 November under the given conditions. Pedestrians who, in poor visibility, are on the road outside the village must wear reflective vest. But police officers recommend wearing reflective clothing to all pedestrians, not only those who are affected by the amendment to the traffic law of February this year.
That is exactly what it looked like this morning at one of the Karvina tire stores. Longer waiting times are linked annually to the obligation to have been transported to winter on conditions stipulated by the law. A continuous layer of snow has not yet appeared, but there may be some icing. The law also considers the safety of pedestrians who move in the dark or diminished visibility to communicate outside of the village. They must wear reflective material throughout the year.
Kola, spokesperson of the Karvina police station: "It is not enough to put it on the ear of a handbag, which is then hidden in the underarm, but to have it visibly on the hand, on the leg, or on a cap or jacket so that it is visible to other participants. Reflective elements in the village are not obligatory, but police officers recommend it to all pedestrians.
Kola, spokesperson of the Karvina police force: "They increase their visibility and thus contribute to their security." Pedestrians: "I am a driver so I know I should wear them. I am wearing tapes. "" I'm dressing light too. "" I will not wear them, because when it is dark, I am home. "" Unfortunately, I do not see you. "" I will not wear because I do not. I have to buy them. "
All pedestrians should realize that if a person wears dark clothing, the driver registers it for twenty meters in low visibility. The white color is visible at 55 meters. The ideal distance for the reaction is 200 meters. Only reflective accessories guarantee this.
