About 90 vehicles led officers of the police station Chiffonier late Tuesday evening shortly behind the Resew tunnel in a checkpoint and checked there. The officials checked accompanying documents and the prescribed equipment. Drivers were checked for their ability to drive and their vehicles for their airworthiness. Apart from a few minor traffic offenses, for example, due to lack of reflective vests or unaccompanied vehicle documents, the inspectors had no serious violations punish.
By regular traffic checks at various points in their area, the police ship village would like to increase traffic safety by exposing them to serious violations, especially driving under the influence of alcohol or with vehicles that are not suitable for traffic.
