On Sunday, September 30, from 10:30 am, Valladolid will enjoy with the Day of the Bike, an initiative of El Norte de Castile, which has the sponsorship and collaboration of the City of Valladolid through its Department of Security and Mobility, Spanish Red Cross, South Clinic, Coca-Cola.
This Bike Day will be a day of leisure and family fun, designed to promote the use of bicycles as an alternative to motorized vehicles, favoring the practice of healthy living habits and respect for the environment. The bike is zero emissions, does not consume fuel, improves health, exercises the body, makes friends, and usually leaves a smile on your face after using it.
During the day, the participants will be informed about the rules of bicycle use and the cycle lane circuit available in the streets of Valladolid. In addition, it is a solidarity initiative because those registered can collaborate in the Health and Environment projects launched by the Red Cross delegation in Valladolid.
The participants will have the possibility to make two different routes depending on the distance: the short route, 4km. Through the streets of the city center, and the long route of, approximately, 15km. At 12:30, the raffle will take place among all registered participants. Registration, at the price of 5 Euros for adults and 3 Euros for young people up to 12 years old (inclusive), entitles: a dorsal, reflective vest, backpack with details of the sponsors, insurance and refreshment in goal. The collection of dorsal, backpack and hi vis vest will take place on the 28th and 29th at the Sports Plant.
The organizers recommend the use of the helmet and safety clothing to all fans. There will be a bus from AUVASA that will close the march and that will do car broom work for the participant who needs it.
