The prefecture reminds the Security Council’s around the site of the new coastal road. The impressive works can "arouse curiosity and look away from the road," according to the prefecture that calls for vigilance about the road safety.
It is therefore advisable to respect the safety distances between the vehicles, namely 70 meters on dry road and 115 meters on wet road if driving at 90 km / h. You also have to be extra vigilant at night with wearing a fluorescent vest and not use the phone or take pictures.
The prefecture also insists on the fact that one should not stop: "The emergency stop band is to be used only in case of extreme necessity.”
In case of stop:
- Activate the hazard lights;
- Leave the vehicle immediately (ideally on the right), put on a retro-reflective vest (mandatory for the driver) and install the triangle 30 m upstream of your vehicle;
- Then place yourself and the passengers behind the safety barriers and wait for the emergency patrol; never cross the roadway.
