This Friday, July 7, 2017, the Oren Departmental Council signed a partnership with the company Kaplan Saint-Pierre Entrapment. Several agents of the Department will wear innovative safety clothing.
Ten vests, four parkas, five jackets, the County Council bought innovative safety clothing at the Kaplan Company in Saint-Pierre. This Friday, July 7, 2017, Christophe Galore, president of the Department, and Marc Prada, CEO of Kaplan have even signed a partnership to seal this collaboration.
Two objectives for the community: to improve the safety conditions of the agents intervening especially on the road worksites, and to test in real situation the personal protection equipments made by Kaplan. These innovative safety vests required "eighteen months of prototyping," said Marc Prada. Today, we have created a small range with which we hope to shine the department of Oren."
Three types of clothing were provided to the county council. High visibility vests work with LEDs. "We can be seen more than three hundred meters when we wear them," said Marc Prada. The light jackets, whose sleeves are removable, are also equipped with a heating system.
