The action to improve traffic safety was organized by the chairman of the Mukhavets village executive committee Alexander Kasperuk, by the way, a former employee of the traffic police.
The residents of the agro-town and the Mukhavets village council who have bicycles and horse-drawn carts gathered at it, the traffic police recalled the need to signify themselves and their vehicles with retro-reflective elements in the dark. They also presented safety vests with increased visibility and called for their use in the dark. Young road users also received gifts - they were handed flickers. Meanwhile, as residents note, the problem of street lighting in the village remains acute. At night, most streets are not illuminated at all, and until 23:00 pedestrian crossings even in the center of the agro-town are dimly lit, which creates the danger of collision with pedestrians.
